At the starting of the snow white story. A Queen sits sewing at an open window during a winter snowfall when Queen pricks her finger with her needle, causing 3 drops of blood dropping into freshly fallen snow on the black windowsill. Admiring the beauty of the resulting color combination, queen says to herself, "oh how i wish that i had a daughter that had skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood, and hair as black as ebony. Soon after that, the Queen gives birth to a girl who is as white as snow, as red as blood. and with hair as black as ebony. The queen name her daughter Snow white, but sadly, the queen dies after giving birth to her daughter.
